Our Story
Raaga Experience began with a simple idea - that Indian classical music deserves to be felt, not just heard.
We wanted to create something that brings people closer to music in ways that are immersive, emotionally real, and deeply rooted in India’s cultural and spiritual fabric. What started as a conversation quickly turned into a spark, and soon, the vision for Raaga Experience began to take shape. A space where music, travel, and storytelling come together to create something unforgettable.
Our first concept was Raaga Trails, a musical journey across India through immersive, culturally rich travel experiences. While we were still working out the details, we decided to try something small. A dry run, just to see how it would feel. That turned into The Temple Series. And in just 50 days from the day Raaga was born, we were standing at our very first event.
A week before that evening unfolded, the idea of Sound Scapes found us - an experience where music and nature meet in perfect conversation.
Since then, it has been a wild, beautiful ride. We have poured our energy, imagination, and a whole lot of heart into every detail. Sleepless nights, too much coffee, last minute chaos, building a website from scratch, choosing artists, figuring out what it means to even plan an event, finding venues, printing invites, chasing sponsors - we have done it all. And we have done it with one thing in mind.
Music.
We didn’t come from the world of events.
We came with a feeling - one we believed was worth sharing. Raaga Experience is our way of offering that feeling to you.
Because for us, it always begins with the music. Everything else just follows.

Dhruv Dhanda
Keeper of Vision & Rhythm
Dhruv is the vision and heartbeat behind Raaga Experience. What began as a personal love for Indian classical music has grown into a living, breathing platform that reimagines how this timeless tradition can be experienced today. For him, Raaga isn’t just about preserving heritage - it’s about making it pulse with relevance, beauty, and meaning in the modern world.
A believer in quiet impact, Dhruv’s approach is thoughtful and bold. He sees music as more than performance - it’s conversation, connection, and memory. With Raaga, he’s created a space where artists feel seen, audiences feel something shift, and classical music finds a home beyond the concert hall-whether in temples, gardens, or intimate baithaks.
Outside the world of music, Dhruv wears another hat, with equal passion. As the founder of one of India’s leading sustainable energy companies, he has spent the last 15 years helping organizations transition from fossil fuels to cleaner, smarter energy solutions. His work has touched over 200 corporations, government bodies, and international institutions, and earned recognition from both public and private sectors.
Dhruv brings this same spirit of purpose to everything he builds. With degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from the University of Illinois, and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, his grounding in systems, strategy, and innovation allows him to move seamlessly between structure and soul-between renewable energy models and the finer details of a sitar drone.
What sets him apart is his ability to dream big, but always with intention. For Dhruv, it’s not about applause or acclaim-it’s about creating moments that move people. Whether it's a concert under temple skies or a silent shift in perspective, he believes the true power of music and life lies in how deeply it’s felt. And while he’ll never ask for the spotlight, Raaga Experience quite literally wouldn’t exist without him. From vision to execution, pulse to purpose-Dhruv is the quiet force keeping it all in tune.
Divya Sharma
Curator of Story & Soul
Divya is the creative whirlwind behind Raaga Experience - equal parts instinct, passion, and beautifully controlled chaos. With a deep love for Indian classical music and an eye for immersive detail, she’s the one turning Raaga’s concerts into experiences that feel personal, layered, and unforgettable.
She brings over 15 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, having curated high-end cultural journeys for discerning travellers across the US, Canada, and Singapore. With a background in Hospitality and Tourism, she knows how to make people feel something - from the flow of an itinerary to the emotion of a live performance.
At Raaga, Divya moves between artist calls, venue walkthroughs, production logistics, and audience curation - usually all in one day. She thrives in the mess of the creative process, guided less by formulas and more by gut. Her decisions are instinctive, her energy contagious, and her focus always on how the experience will land... with the artist, with the space, and most of all, with the audience.
While her heart beats in rhythm with classical music, her playlists span everything from ghazals to techno - an eclectic mix that mirrors the balance she brings to Raaga: rooted in tradition, but never afraid to take risks.
She’s not the calm in the storm - she’s the storm with a spreadsheet. And while she may not be on stage, she’s the one making sure everything around it sings in harmony.
